A key player in the field of marine energy and engineering, our client has been active for several years in the marine energy markets, particularly in EPCI contracts for offshore wind substations.

Main Objectives

Within the Electrical department, you will be the Technical Manager for high and medium voltage equipment on projects within the Business Unit.

In this role, you will manage interfaces with suppliers on one side and internal departments (mechanical, structural, electrical, etc.) on the other.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical and budgetary lead for high-voltage electrical systems on the Business Unit’s offshore projects.
  • Select suppliers for high and medium voltage equipment (power transformers, GIS, reactors, cables, and connectors) and manage procurement in collaboration with the purchasing department.
  • Oversee supplier contracts from the sizing studies to commissioning (review/approval of supplier documents, engineering documents, inspection reports, testing/commissioning, assembly, operation, and maintenance documentation).
  • Provide technical support during FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), assembly, commissioning, SAT (Site Acceptance Tests), and final commissioning phases.
  • Manage interfaces with other electrical equipment (electrical control/SCADA systems, protection systems, low-voltage supplies) as well as with other project disciplines (mechanical interfaces, corrosion protection, HVAC, maintenance, testing, and commissioning).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Job Requirements

Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in project management and engineering in the high and medium voltage domain / Proven track record in the industry, particularly in interface management and supplier oversight / Rigorous, methodical, proactive, and strong interpersonal skills
